Yet another delicious blueberry dessert to start the weekend off right…

For the longest time, I’ve been afraid to bake with whole wheat flour because in my experience it just never seems to be as good as white 🤷‍♀️ However this whole wheat blueberry buckle has completely changed my mind! The flour adds such a nice nuttiness and the cake is is so moist and light. I’m this case, I prefer it over white flour 100 percent! 😁

Alrights so more on this whole wheat blueberry buckle… it is a little healthier than traditional, not too sweet and topped with a crunchy oat pumpkin seed crumble. Sweetened with maple syrup and bursting with fresh blueberries, enjoy as a healthier dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or maybe breakfast if your feeling it.

– whole wheat flour
– baking powder + soda
– ground flaxseed
– maple syrup
– dairy free yogurt
– apple sauce
– coconut oil
– oats
– pumpkin seeds
