Isn’t Malden salt so cool?! I could just sit and stare at those perfect little crystals all day… if they weren’t on a cookie, because I’d probably eat the cookie but you get the point.

If you’re looking for a good vehicle for your Malden salt, these cookies are the way to go! I absolutely love baking with miso because it’s salty, yes, but also has that punch of umami which gives these cookies such an interesting flavor. It also makes them a little hard to stop eating, so be warned 🙂
