Sweet Potato Dal with Olive Oil Sage Parathas ✨🌱
I was flipping through the most recent issue of bonappetitmag the other day (the Thanksgiving issue!) and this recipe for brown butter sage parathas caught my eye. Alas I cannot eat dairy so brown butter and ghee were off the table, but my sage infused olive oil certainly did the trick!! I’ve made roti before, but trust me, parathas are at a whole other level. They’re dense and flaky and my god the LAYERS. Paired with a warm bowl of dhal, hands down the best Sunday comfort food.
Recipe for the dhal came from nytcooking, added a little cinnamon and chopped sage.
