Miso Sunbutter Cookies 🍪
I tailored this recipe from bonappetitmag’s Miso Almond Butter Cookies. In fact with a dairy, egg and nut allergy I needed to make fairly a couple of modifications. I used Earth Steadiness rather than butter, sadly I couldn’t brown it as a result of dairy free butters don’t have any milk solids. I changed almond butter with unsweetened Sunbutter and the egg with a flax egg (1 tbsp floor flax + three tbsp water).
I melted a cup of Get pleasure from Life chocolate chips and dipped every cookie, ending with a pinch of Malden sea salt.
I used to be a bit of nervous about how these would prove, however they really turned out very nice! The saltiness of the miso went completely with the chocolate and Sunbutter.
